These AI Terms apply to the artificial intelligence features of the products and services of MIDDAG, LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States. These AI Terms are incorporated by reference into the agreement described in the [Terms of Service](/terms/). These AI Terms are generic and apply to any product or service; a product or service that needs specific rules for artificial intelligence will have them in the [Service Terms](/service-terms/). ## Definitions "AI Feature" means a feature of a product or service that uses an artificial intelligence model to generate, classify, summarize, translate or otherwise process content. "AI Provider" means a third party that operates an artificial intelligence model. "User-Connected AI Provider" means an AI Provider that a customer or user chooses and connects to a product or service with its own account, credentials or keys. "Input" means the content, prompts, instructions and data that a customer or user submits to an AI Feature, or that a product or service sends to an AI Provider at the customer's or user's request. "Output" means the content that an AI Feature or an AI Provider returns in response to Input. ## When these terms apply These AI Terms apply when a customer or user uses an AI Feature, including an AI Feature that works through a User-Connected AI Provider. When a product or service lets a customer or user connect a User-Connected AI Provider, these AI Terms apply to that connection. ## User-Connected AI Providers A customer or user who connects a User-Connected AI Provider chooses that provider and contracts with it directly. The relationship between the customer or user and a User-Connected AI Provider is governed by the terms and policies of that provider, not by the terms of MIDDAG, LLC. The customer or user and the User-Connected AI Provider are responsible for the use of that provider, including the processing of Input by the provider, the Output it returns, its availability, its fees and its compliance with the law. MIDDAG, LLC is not responsible for the acts or omissions of a User-Connected AI Provider, for the Output it returns, or for any loss that arises from its use. When a customer or user connects a User-Connected AI Provider, it instructs MIDDAG, LLC to send Input to that provider and to receive Output from it, as the product or service is designed to do. A customer or user who connects a User-Connected AI Provider keeps its credentials and keys secure and is responsible for any use made with them. A customer or user may disconnect a User-Connected AI Provider at any time; data already sent to the provider remains subject to the provider's terms. ## Input A customer or user is responsible for its Input and ensures that it has all the rights, permissions and consents needed to submit it. A customer or user does not submit Input that violates the law, the rights of others or the [Acceptable Use Policy](/aup/). A customer or user who submits personal data as Input is responsible for having a lawful basis for that processing and for informing the people concerned where the law requires it. ## Output Output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased or not unique to the customer or user. A customer or user reviews Output before relying on it, and is responsible for its use of Output. A customer or user does not rely on Output as the sole basis for a decision that has legal or similarly significant effects on a person. A customer or user does not present Output as human-generated where the law requires disclosure that it was generated by artificial intelligence. ## Acceptable use The use of AI Features is subject to the [Acceptable Use Policy](/aup/). A customer or user does not use an AI Feature to develop a competing artificial intelligence model, to extract the models or prompts that a product or service uses, or to circumvent any safety or usage limit. ## Data protection The processing of personal data by MIDDAG, LLC in connection with AI Features follows the [Privacy Policy](/privacy/) and, for Business customers, the [Data Processing Addendum](/dpa/). ## No warranty AI Features are provided as part of the products and services under the warranties and disclaimers of the [Terms of Service](/terms/), and MIDDAG, LLC gives no additional warranty for AI Features or Output. Nothing in these AI Terms limits the rights that a [Consumer](/terms/#consumers) has under the mandatory law of the country or state where the Consumer lives. ## Concerns about AI Features Questions or concerns about the use of artificial intelligence in the products and services can be sent to legal@middag.io.
